This makes you start Twitter!

Twitter as an introverted? Not a problem!

Hey, it's Fred

I am introverted. I hate exposing myself, more than I need.

But I still started Twitter... and never regretted it. If you are like me, this is for you!

When I started Twitter I felt like I have nothing interesting to say or share. I was held back by concerns of "What if I fail? What will my friends say?" These were the exact blockers that once stopped me from starting my journey. After I talked to a very close friend of mine, what keeps me away, he asked what my fear is:

  • Me: "I am introverted and do not like being in the center of attention." -> Him: "you don't have to show your face, so who will know?"

  • Me: "I feel like I don't know anything." -> Him: "If that is really true (what I do not believe), learn something interesting and share your learning journey."

  • Me: "I feel like I don't have anything interesting to say." -> Him: "ok, then curate and share the stories of others."

  • Me: "I am worried about what your friends will say, if I fail" -> Him: "They won't care. And if you're still concerned about someone approaching you: again, stay anonymous."

I don't know who needs to hear that today, but I am telling you this cause this convinced me. It was that one night sitting there with your best friend helping you to grow to the next level.

Don't let these blockers hold you back from starting your journey.

If I learned one thing in the past 6 months: my friend was damn right, and everything is possible on Twitter!

Cheers, speak tomorrow

Fred
